Kidz' Kwilt Korner

brought to you by Ponchatoula High School Art Club

Located in front of the alligator cage by the Country Market, Ponchatoula High art students will be available to guide every visiting child to an appreciation of the quilting art.

The young artisans can participate in three hands-on activities:  1) Creating a colorful quilt pattern in chalk on the sidewalk, 2) Forming a miniature quilt puzzle with a myriad of tiny triangular magnets, and 3) Coloring quilt patterns on paper.

At the Kidz’ Kwilt Korner during the October 11  Quilt & Art Expo in Ponchatoula, children of all ages will get the opportunity to learn the basics of quilt design.

Chalk it…color it…move it…

The Kidz’ Kwilt Korner will be open from 1:00 to 4:00, Saturday during the outdoor expo.  All children's activities in this area are free of charge.
